> When you are doing large inlays such as windows, boxes,or points,do you do anything to the back side of the male part or the bottom of the pocket for glue adhesion?
I know it's easily within the capabilities of the cuemaker to adjust the fits of the pockets and parts to where they have to be tapped in. I've heard stories about guys like Joe Gold putting ivory points in a cue in his shop and playing with it,without glue. If you make the fits that snug, how the hell do you get the glue in,except on the bottom? Are you wicking CA into the seams? I can't see just slathering epoxy in there like that Falcon video.
Is hydraulic build up a concern here?
Do you guys build a customized "extra hand" to hold the parts while you're deburring them? What tools do you use? Tommy D.
