I am not too familiar with cuemaking and the problems they have, but I have a question. When Juma or Holly, something white other than Ivory, do those materials have a tendency to yellow over time?

Hi,

I don't use holly so I can't say. I have been using Juma since it came on the scene and so far so good. IMO Juma is the best thing that ever happened to the cue industry. All of the other white or ligth colored material were prone to getting dirty during a build. Juma is the cat's pajamas. It's perfect.

Many clears today have a UV inhibitor in them now.

Most any light colored material will yellow if left in the sunlight. But they are pretty stable in a cue under normal circumstances.

white inlays

alot of the yellowing is not in the material,its in the topcoat.take an older cue that has yellowing and strip it down,its white underneath the finish.
