I am trying to make some barbells in a buttsleeve and before I go any further I need to know is there someone out there that can make me sterling silver circles. I would like them 3/16ths in dia. I dont have an inlay machine so I dont know if this is to small to make. How much would it be for about 40 of them.

Thanks

Since you say you need 3/16 circles I imagine the inlays you need will be hollow, like a tire. If this is true, I would the easiest way would be to get some silver tubing and just slice off circles the thickness that you need.

Thanks for pointing that out Richard. I do not want them to be hollow. I want them solid with the outside dia at 3/16th.

Round solid Silver wire comes in various diameters. I use to use it to inlay dots. I would round the end off with a file then saw about 1/4" piece off. Round the end with a file again and saw another piece off. This made it easy to push the rounded end down into the drilled hole. You might have to buy a decimal drill bit to match the silver size.

26 gauge is only .016 ths. thick. Much to thin to use as an inlay I would think.
