A local seller has a number of these tables available in the $500 range.

Not being familiar with the brand (I've quietly been seeking out a 4x8 Big G with ball returns), I'd appreciate any feedback as to their construction, playability, etc....

The price is attractive & they have returns, but I have not inspected them just yet.

Thanks in advance for any comments pro / con.

Being in that part of the country I would have assumed it would be easy to find a Gandy table.
AS for the Imperial tables....I gotta go with Josh on this one.
You get what you pay for.
There are too many good tables out there from this side of the big pond, to settle for anything less.
And there are ALOT of deals out there as well, just keep your eyes open, and it will probably just fall into your lap-

The folks that ran Gandy now run American Heirloom in Atlanta.
They should be able to answer any Gandy table questions you have and might
even have a line on some used ones. Doesn't hurt to call 770-775-6900

Hey Rick...FYI ...American Heirloom went out of business. (owing me and others money) One of the main table builders there named Chris Speed took the website along with the plans & jigs of the Gandy/AH line. That is the correct number 4 him.

Thanks for the update.
Checked the site and now it shows American Custom Tables or something like that.

I built a table for Chris Speed a few weeks ago. He has the plans and rights to the Gandy table. I built a home table, Thick frame and slates, nice table.

Not a bad playing table, not made very well though, alot of mdf and plywood.

Thanks for the input; I'll keep my eyes open for a 4x8 Big G, Hustler, or Brunswick Medalist / GC.

If I do locate one of the tables above, is it possible to add ball returns & if so, how much should I expect to pay for the returns, ball box, etc..? I'm going to make a bold assumption that since he frame superstructure was designed to accommodate returns on any of the tables I listed, it's just a matter of hooking them up, right?:scratchhead:
