Installation of a Gabriel 10ft Billiards Table.

A vacation...is any other kind of work...that don't include a billiards table...LOL...although, I think I heard Brian at Diamond saying something about having to deliver another Gabriel Billiards table to somewhere in Colorado shortly....uuuuugghhh!

Glen

PS. I get a break on Monday, I'm heading down to Florida to deliver tables...LOL then back to Diamond, then up north to the Maryland area I guess.

Your right again a metric ton has larger numbers so it must be heavier, thats why a U.S. ton weights less so your back doesn't hurt as much....lol

So, when the table weighs 3,000 lbs american, what is that in metric?...LOL

should be 1.365 metric by mass...the term mass is used instead of weight.
Weight is a measure of how heavy something is, whereas mass is a measure of the amount of matter. To illustrate, something that weighs 60 pounds on the earth would only weigh about 10 pounds on the moon (due to the lower gravity of the moon), whereas something the has a mass of 60 Kilograms on the earth would still have a mass of 60 kilograms on the moon (as the amount of matter is unchanged). Consequently, the statement that 1 kilogram is 2.21 pounds is true here on earth but not elsewhere (a point mainly of interest to scientists).

Not just an average slate humper....lol

Just thought we could use a good laugh between that install and me moveing that 6x12 snooker and the Anniversary table with the 1\2" steel plates glued to it I needed some good laughs. I remember installing a coin op and pushing it up a hill steep almonst like those stairs to get to the back of the house then came the one piece slate you know the routine.

I dont get to see to many Gabrial tables so now I know what i'm up against in the future thanks for the photo's and that was truly a crazy install.

As for the moon kinda tough in a suite wouldn't you a thinkhow would you level it let alone do a jump shot..lmao.

6 more tables to go so i can rest today might be a short day for me.

Ya know, this reminds me of the time when I moved the 211 club in downtown Seattle from Union street to Bell street. It was located on the second floor, the elevator would only hold about 800lbs, and was to small to fit any of the side body panels of the 6 x 12 Brunswick snooker tables...they put all the tables in with a forklift through the second floor windows! We had to take the snooker table frames out the windows, and down the condemned fire excape that was missing a bunch of steps!...LOL

Yes, that's a heater backer board, very common for billiards tables.
