I have bought a couple Starrett levels off Ebay that are in nice condition.

The last one I got my hands on was about 85 buxks or so. You just gotta

look around. Don't forget your spray glue for when you close the pockets.

Yes i saw that too on ebay but not currently for 85. Zoro sells them and sometimes they have deals so we ll see. Also i do plan on getting the 3m spray adhesive for the pockets. Thanks!

The DVD's show the staple method. They are a one time investment and will help you get a solid result. They show you everything you need. A can of 3M 77 spray glue for the pockets. Beeswax or bondo for the slate seams and if you can get your hands on a Starrett 98-12" machinist level to level the slates, you will be all set. There is a leveling guide at the top of this forum that the Real King Cobra provided.
