Just got my Power One Pocket DVD and watched it, what a great DVD. While this is NOT a plug for the DVD, I am wondering if there is a Straight pool Instructional DVD that covers the different aspects of the game like Power One Pocket does for one-hole. :D

Thanks

Carl

I can't say how well they cover all aspects of the game but Mike Sigel's perfect straight pool, Jim Rempe's How to Run 100 Balls, John Schmidts 2 dvds and Danny Harrimans 280 ball run are all very good resources.

I don't know what to add to that list. Only a DVD by Blackjack (which is not out yet but I hope it will be soon)?

Trust me I keep hitting refresh on that one and nothing comes up. My fingers are getting numb waiting.

I mean the guy is a terrible lagger but he knows his stuff !!!

The DVD from The King/Jim Rempe is still a *must-have*-- he was already 2 years further with his way of straight-pool knowledge. And just to hear how seriously he s talking is a reason to own it!
Sigel s is also nice--
Imo if you want to have a great saturday-- get something nice to eat, some nice drinks-and then you watch the Rempe DVD-after that the 2 great runs from John.....if this not opens your eyes for straight-pool....Pelota would be better :p sry, just kiddin :)
If you hear what Jim Rempe is talking about so many years ago--and what John tells about his way of playing-listen good and they have much common. That s my point-of-view and i was really amazed by both players.
