Call Jerry Briesath...608-279-9994. Tell him I sent you to him. He's one of the best instructors there are. Usually he teaches out of Stix in Peoria. Maybe you can meet him there, or maybe he will come to Kolbys. Call him...you can't go wrong.

Babe Thompson use to teach out at Kolby's, and also Main Street. He is an East Valley Guy. Not sure he is still teching, but I am sure someone at Kobly migh know. His Last Cell Number I had is is 602 501 6712

Thommy, when I get back I will play you some cheap one pocket. In Vegas for one more week, Scott is here too. I would say Bernie is your best bet, I will see about passing him number along and you guys playing a bit and instruction.
 
If it were me, I would go with an instructor first, and get your stroke checked out. Then "playing lessons" from one of those guys would make sense. JMO

Talked to Babe today. I've got a two session lesson set up. first one on Thursday:thumbup: He's coming to my place so that is a bonus.

Thanx to everyone for the help. I'd like to get sorta consistent in my shooting, then I'm more than willing to gamble cheap to pay for my lessons:grin:

I started learning the game for table time and $1. Back when a dollar would buy you 3 gallons of gas!

I did the math so that's about $20 a game one pocket. :smile:

I think you failed to factor in the fact that gas prices are currently declining:cool:
