Hey All,
I'm trying to see if there would be any interest in purchasing a numberless pool ball set. I've been speaking with Aramith and they said they could make a custom set of numberless balls. The quality being of their Premier sets. Would you guys be interested in this?

Hell yeah I would. I've wanted a numberless set since I saw the raschig set.

I like the looks of the numberless balls but being color blind, I often look at the numbers to differentiate between balls that look similar to me. Even the predator balls with only 1 number per ball caused me some difficulties.

I’d be a buyer if quality level was upped to the Duramith technology in their Tournament set (traditional colors). I already have the Cyclops Ares for banging around.

Yes on the solid color balls, and yes on epco, I've bought a box of 2 1/4 solid white,
yellow and black balls from them, 3-4 dozen or so.
At the time I had inquired the gal said she would let me have what they had at the time
from a batch that they had just run that hadn't been numbered. culls maybe?,
she says they weren't, they always make more than they need to fill an order.
They have a minimum. 150 maybe 200.

Solid color balls work well with 4Ball, 3 of one color and a yellow,
the only call on the shot is yellow or black, or red if you're red.
I'd love to get some greens, blues and pink for the gals in 2 1/4 of course,
2 1/8 are already available in snooker sets.

So, Aramith says its a custom order, what, the packaging?

I sent them a mockup of what i was looking for. They said they could make it
but need a minimum purchase order of 50 sets.

numberlessstatic.JPG Sorry for the posts figuring out how to add pictures. This is a mockup of what i sent Aramith. They require a minimum of 50 sets to make with a 3 month lead time to produce. I'm looking for hopefully at least 49 people that would be interested.

Am i missing something here??? WHY do you want numberless balls??

going to have to be more creative than that,
it would be for games where numbers are not relevant,
for instant, like 1P, you only call your pocket once, right?
packaging all one color of solids or stripes with a matching measles cue ball.

I mean, with black being the new white, all black with 2 - 3 pinstripes (pick your choice
of color) would be cool with the cue ball being pinstriped white of course,
still haft to have a master.

The Brunswick centennials is my standard color scheme for american pool (my opinion only). So i'm using that as a template for the numberless. I understand not having numbers would be difficult for beginners and for the color blind. but outside of that people that play regularly does it make a difference if there is a number on the ball or not? I dont' see how not having numbers would prevent any game from being played as long as both players know which # corresponds to which color.

If it's a pink 4 ball, I'm out. Pink 4 ball is an abomination and this comes from a cyclop hyperion owner.

I get the recognizing a ball for the call without seeing a number.
With what sounds like Aramith being more reachable at 50 sets,
one could get quite creative with simple sets/color schemes of their premiums for
$3500 - 4000 tops, shipped.
