In the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jviVyInCb2c you see a lot of interesting situations. It is from the French national championship of 2013. Each player runs more than 250 in a match to 400. There is an "equalizing inning" tie and the tie breaker is a match to 40 (which presumably could have been followed by another match to 40). One player has three break shots in one run. The referee is asked to hold the light out of the way. There is some pretty good camera work showing how the players maneuver around the triangular balk areas in the corner as they take the balls around the table.

Yes the Author Didier Tromas from France has captured a lot of Carom footage in his country of France, and neighboring countries.

I believe Mr. Tromas primarily tapes three cushion matches and is the same guy who caught on video the 28 point three cushion run of Roland Forthomme. I think he is somehow related to the young French three cushion player Eric Tromas.

Mr Tromas has also captured the small games, artistic carom, and matches of the pin game. Without his taping of the smaller Carom disciplines I would not be as familiar with the Top French small game carom players.
