Too bad it's today...

I would take off from work early and go down to watch if today wasn't my daughter's birthday. We're taking her to chuckie cheeze's tonight so it wouldn't be worth it to drive an hour and a half to be able to watch for an hour and a half and then turn right around and drive back an hour and a half in rush hour traffic out of San Diego to get to Chuck E. Cheese's.

I read on the casino's Web page that it will air in December or January on ESPN.

it's two races to 5 then sudden death game if its tied....you don't need to be a grinder to win this joke of a tournament lol... but its for tv so the race has to be short.

what's the big beef about? It's a made for TV event and if you win 2 matches you get $25K. Yes it's less $$ than prior events that had more people in it (more TV matches) but to win 2 matches for $25K...not bad.

Please don't confuse this with a real tournament to find the best player in the land (or all the lands). whatever.
