i don't know if it has been mentioned here but is there going to be web coverage anywhere for the event starting tommorow?thanks.

I know they will have updated scorecards but I want some live webcast even if I have to pay for it.

Yeah, It's about time we have statistics and records kept for players on a tour, history and record keeping has been very poor in pool to date. I of course will be closely watching the stats and trying to keep some of my own. I see they have links up for individual player stats, that looks very promising! I sure hope we get consecutive break & runs, wins, and anything else they can keep or calculate.

As for records, I highly doubt anyone will beat Manalo's IPT consecutive match wins of 17, and probably will not beat his almost 50% break and run percentage, we shall see.

1 out of every 154 games someone made the 8 on the break in the KOTH, will most likely be worse this time around, like 200. Wonder if anyone can get 2 in a row?

GLI ahhh the new and better Winning % leaders going into this event from the KOTH are:
Reyes .642
Bustamante .641
Manalo .620

Yes, the GLI is no more, it's Winning %, which is way better and closer to other sports, I just hope they don't use 2 decimal points like 64.18 for Reyes, a rounded off .642 seems much better.

I can't wait to see what happens, but I'm betting these 3 guys are in the top 10:-)

At the player's meeting, KT described for $5.95/mo., getting access to all kinds of matches. Details later.

The pockets are 4 1/4"!

I've been trying to see results at www.internationalpooltour.com with no success. It seems their website is pretty unresponsive when going to the results page. Perhaps it is overloaded (fix that please) or a bit flakey (fix that please) or it's just that the Internet is slow (hmmm, other sites seem fine). If they have Real Pool, Real Rules, and Real Money, why can't they get a Real Website. The Open web site worked just fine, and it was likely way more popular this morning.

Any other experiences ?

Dave, thankful for JAMs updates otherwise he'd know nothing

I agree, I think the updates were painfully slow to be honest.

On top of that they seemed to make some mistakes early on and results continually were 'there one minute but gone the next'. I was trawling message boards and scouring the internet for information, but there was little to be found. They need to do better than that - especially if they are looking to charge for it.
