It is what Shane said in the interview. not necessarily my opinion. I absolutely agree with you that the World Cup of Pool has high potential to be marketed to a broader audience.

Wasn't the Derby City the World Cup of Pool before the World Cup of Pool ?:smile: Many events , sort of a pool convention ?Mosconi Cup started in 94 and now has become more relevant?I'd say the Mosconi is short sighted in that it could become more by being inclusive to other regions and taking slop shots out of the game .
The MC showcases the players in a more exciting atmosphere . If Derby City were televised or streamed free of charge like the MC i believe it would be as exciting for those who can't attend. I realize the money isn't there but if it was , who knows .
Yes, he is a really good person and a great image for the game of pool.
He also likes to fish so that puts him on my A list.
