Introducing Billiards to the next generation

I refer to higher education institutions. Globally not all colleges have pool leagues or even know how to run a pool league.

The recognition of pool as a sport at the collegiate level would help countries export their youth into colleges.

If Fedor had been on a college team, he would never be banned from competition.

For many individuals from emerging nations, they have no idea what life in America is until they experience.
Maybe before we concern ourselves about promoting billiards at the collegiate level we should look into the finding a way to make the cost of higher education affordable. There are staggering amounts of student loans in default, these are areas that require the highest attention at the moment.

I have long lists of students waiting entry for colleges in America. A new sports program would be designed to foster a specific population.

My experiences with billiards has always been positive. The pro scene had a huge impact on me.

If you select the right people to be part of a community they might grow it, stay with it and ensure institutional livelihood.

Billiards is fading in America, it is time for it to be an institutional home for the world. An institutional home means endorsement in higher education.

The next generation will solve what was not solved by the billiard industry.

A- NOBODY can afford to do that for free and if one did, it would be worth every penny. You are the example of that.

Want to know what characteristic is constant in successfull pursuits? MONEY

2) how do you determine billiards is 'fading'? My chart says reinvestment by current industry players is at an all-time high

And secondly, do you read what you shit out?

Billiards is fading in terms of:
Fewer rooms are being opened.
League participation is decreasing.
American pool pro dominance in events is on the decline.
The prize purse of American based events is declining.
The amount of American participation in pro pool events is declining.
The amount of coverage from non billiards media is also declining.

The only ups are pool tables sold is up and pool equipment costs are up.

Next time I will just write a book.

I'd be interested in the data and know your observations are solely based on your (ignorant and biased) observations.

Your will-not-do list continues to grow!
You will not write a book.
You will not do anything of measure with pyramid.
You will not...
You will not...

Pyramid can be adapted to standard pool tables. Just have them manufacture bigger balls. Thicker cue sticks will be needed as well.

What have you done in the past two weeks of this forum for the forum?

I'll answer for him and myself...

What have we done? Called you out on your bullshit... that's what we and the majority of the other people posting in this thread have done.

You are a troll. You pose as an intellectual when you are the furthest thing from it. You are doing nothing for pool and only make yourself look worse with every fakeass post.

That last paragraph I wrote has done more for this forum then anything you have ever posted.

I love that a guy who sees himself as some sort of pool savior and global influencer has instead alienated the entire online pool community, become a figure of nothing but ridicule, and has only one accomplishment...which is to troll and swindle a former pro player.

Well done.

I'll have to acknowledge you responded to the topic. .missed the point though.

What have I done for the forum? Not be you.

Any new players I introduce to pool, I ensure to inform them of some of the bigger online resources.

AZB, Pool is not dead on Facebook etc.

During this process I inform them of users and people by name (if they have made that public) to avoid and ignore.
Dan Harriman and Justnum are at the top of the list for this site.

I consider each person I inform, a service to the game.

Great thread!
