I was just wondering if there is a forum for Iowa locals to go and chat about the game? I notice a lot of players on here are from Iowa...

I have made a similar post to this before, but didnt ask about a forum...

I live and play in Clinton Iowa, at Lassiters, Im not a big stick though so no one would know of me, but Im getting more and more into the game/sport, and would love to chat it up with some players from Iowa and maybe get somes games in with some of you.
 
Hmmm, I had learned that the answer to my question is a no...

I may have to work on starting one :)

I have some graphic arts experience, and have a couple buddies with some database (PHP and MySQL) experience...May have to whip up an Iowa/Illinois message board for the locals to chit chat and meet up on...

And by no means a competetive forum of this one....Just figured Id throw that out there...
 
Most of the forums I participate in have regional forums where locals can discuss upcoming events and such. This is typically done as a forum grows in size because the moderators realize that some segmentation would help people connect. AZB is pretty big now, so maybe they will follow suit.

Here's the only two sites about Iowa leagues that I look at once in a while:

They don't have chat rooms, but that would be nice. I'd like a site where the photos and bios are listed. There used to be a Iowa Pool Halls site but it was never updated so I took it off my favorites.

Give it a go and see what happens,
