This app should work on an iPod Touch. An 8GB retails for $200, and Apple carries the refurbs for $150 with full warranty and free shipping.

There are a couple of Skye type apps that lets you make calls using a wifi connection.

Can you clarify what content are we getting for $3? One issue, or access to all? The last photo of the app shows an annual fee.
 
Yeah sure - the first issue you buy is £1.79 (or the equivalent thereof)

After that you can either - Buy a discounted yearly subscription for the next 12 issues

Or - Buy each new issue as it is released

Both options are as 'in-app' purchases.

What did you think to our first edition?
 
****UPDATE****

iPool Magazine App is now free to download from iTunes App Store.

Our October Edition is available within the App and we will be releasing a Mosconi Cup Special Edition next week which I hope all of the "U . S . A!!!" tubthumpers will love. We'll be talking to Nick Varner, Matchroom Sport's Luke Riches and legendary commentator Jim Wych and will be speculating on who's going to get the final spots on each team.
 
Its a little disappointing that i paid the $3 only to find out you then offer it for free

So $6 to get the first issue before the free App? I downloaded it this morning to see the free issue to decide if I would buy more for my trips to Texas. I downloaded the App and registered to find out it was $2.99. Not trying to be cheap but, I know what I'm getting with the $5 billiard magazines I buy. Ron

Hey guys.

The cost of the magazine has not changed so nobody who has already bought it has not lost out. We've just swapped what you pay for on the first purchase.

The App is now free and then you have the option to buy any editions within the App, whereas before it was £1.79 for the App and you got the first magazine for free....it was never $6 dollars for one edition?

For those of you looking for a preview, we have a Mosconi Cup special being released next week for just 59p....might be worth a look before deciding on our monthly editions.
