I'm about to watch the NA Open on TV now....on Versus.....just FYI who might have that channel too....Holman v.s. Diks to start....

Thanks for the post

I caught most of this yesterday because I saw your post, and I really enjoyed it. Say what you will, I think the presentation is pretty good, even Sigel is pretty good on his comments and behavior. It has an element of excitement in it, that I don't feel with other billiard events on TV.

Hohmann and Diks were good to watch, but I really enjoyed watching Gabe and Chamat play, except Gabe didn't win ... lol (I have to ask me about that 10 ball he missed ... lol). And I am no fan of Chamat, so it was doubly hard to take.

I really and truly hope the IPT succeeds because it is doing a lot of things right, even though there are things not right, the events, the online system and statistics, being able to watch live matches, their library of matches, and I felt that they were trying to improve everything as they went along.

I hope all matters get sorted out, and the players get paid, and the IPT can continue, because I really enjoy their events, and seeing the players showcased in matches and on TV.

Good to hear your review Snapshot!
btw: Sounds like they showed more of the matches in this broadcast than for the KOH, is that right?

Anyone else see the broadcast and want to add something?

Colin

I am one of the hopefuls, as well.........there was an awful long drought between the Camel Tour days and the IPT.....

I saw it and thought it was great. They tried to build the WPT connection by featuring interaction between MS and LJJ and top poker stars.

I thought the commentary was the best yet. I thought the matches they showed were good. Thorsten played well in his match and Gabe missed a couple of shots that I expected him to make. Overall the quality of the play was very good. There was even a safety battle.

I wish they had more time in each broadcast, watching 3 games from 2 matches is a good taste, but it's over too quick.

Cheers,
RC
