IPT Open Application Date

I'm not sure originally, but there are 1-2 alternate spots open now for the tour, and if you want in, everyone better apply in the next couple days. Then they are going to hold a qualifying tournament for those spots with a large entry fee to weed out the non-serious player. Don't yet know when or where, but getting on the tour is worth sure money!

I applied for an alternate spot like 2 weeks ago or so but after submitting the application I got a message telling me that all alternate applications had to be submitted by some date that was prior to me submitting that application. I am under the impression that any applications that are submitted now are going to be ignored because it's past the deadline. Is this wrong? Maybe I should go apply again (hey, maybe 3 times is a charm) if that's the case. Any idea?

Hello

Hi Jimmy,
How's your son? I bet he's getting big!

I haven't played for about five years, but I hope to get in shape and possibly play a couple tournaments a year. Beisdes, with the IPT there is a lot to get excited about!

It's great to hear from you.

Take care,
Kristi

Original Date

Hi Linda,
Do you know the original date that the IPT opened their application process?

I heard Florida was first class through and through!

Thanks,
Kristi

He's doing real well (spoiled as all hell, but doing well). He's 9, if you can believe that crap. It's amazing how fast they grow. Hopefully I'll see you around some time.

Sorry, I don't know when it originally opened. The first record I have is when I applied for my husband August 2, when the membership fee was $899. Hope this helps.

Yes, I would definitely re-apply, as KT said at our player's meeting just before the finals, that he encouraged anyone and everyone to apply now, as in the next few days (or never is my take on it, as you will have to wait to play in qualifiers for the Opens, but it still won't give you a membership spot like what you will be playing for now). Good luck!

I just applied again and didn't receive the "your late" message, so I'm guessing that means applications are still being accepted for alternates. :)
