Efren changed cues?

Did anyone notice that Efren changed to a different plain cue late in the week. It looked like a plain cue with no points? And does anyone know why...and if something happened to his other cue.

I noticed that when he hit a shot during one match...that he started to twist his cue together...as if it wasn't tightly put together and maybe it was vibrating or something...

I did not hear of him breaking his cue, a la Hopkins. I did see him switch cues for particular shots during his matches. Maybe he was having better success with one of his cues and decided to use it for the rest of the tournament?

I will try to notice on my video footage. I bought a new program which I will install today to try to post the videos.
