Hey John,
Thanks for the info, I plan on attending & will pass the word.
"Have a nice day",

Is there a entry fee for this qualifier and how much?
How many players do you have and how many days it will last?

I think John is being modest in describing their facilities.

For those not familiar with The Pool Room in Marietta, it is one of the best, if not the best, places to play in Georgia. The tables are great to play on, the menu is varied (including burgers, steaks, chicken, pork, and pastas) and delicious, the staff is always friendly, and they have plenty of leather couches if you just want to sit and relax. The Pool Room goes above and beyond to support billiards, hosting events to include the UPA, Viking Tour, and Pechauer Tour, and I'm excited to see they'll be supporting the IPT as well!

Hey The Baby's Arm.... make sure Stevie gets his rear end in that qualifier! Cue Chick, I'm counting on you to make sure he gets in it too. ;)

Also, Cue Chick do you have those pics from Athen's? I had forgotten about them until recently. I was going to send one to Stevie's mom in a xmas card and completely forgot about it.

As far as I know he will definitely be there. Josh Arieh is staking him now and I don't think it will be long before the entire world knows how good he really is.

Only $13,000 GUARANTEED!?!?!?

What happend to $100 K being what you get at the end of the year...hold on a sec. The $13 G's is for '06, I just remembered that the $100 K is for '07...my bad.:(

HI MARISSA,

Lamar that is very generous and I will let him know, he may play in the one in Kentucky a few weeks before so winning that would be the only reason I see him not playing in John's.

Kudos to The Pool Room

John,

I have to echo Marissa's points...The Pool Room is by far the BEST room in ATL...Facilities are excellent, Staff is courteous, Food is the Best around...and they now have a second location in Duluth, (where were you guys when I lived up there?!) LOL...visited for the first time yesterday, and they have done another AWESOME job!...Shout Out to Chris!...and man does 'The Shark', (a Diamond Pro with I'd say 3 1/2" Pockets!), play tough!

All The Best with the IPT...I'll be there to watch the action...

Stevie

Hey cuechick,
Thanks. Please advise his thoughts.
Why would winning an event in Kentucky (Derby City Classic), keep Stevie from playing in the IPT qualifier.
Sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to say, there is no conflict between these events.

Hey Lamar,
They are having another IPT Q'er in Kentucky two weeks before the pool room at the end of the Derby (I think?) so that was what I was referring too. If you can play in more than one, I think he will play in that one first?

Have a Happy New Year...are the having the Sunday 9 Ball tourney? I don't think I'll make it up there today but maybe I'll see you there soon.
=)

The Best

I have been living in the Marietta area for the past three years and have been playing at this room maybe five to seven days a week. It is without a doubt, the very best room that I have ever played in. I have been fortunate to have traveled throughout the world in my business and always have stopped in the top rooms in whatever city or country I happened to be in so my reference point is fairly large. I am lucky to live here in the Marietta area and able to have such an extraordinary place to play. The tables vary from very tough to fairly easy so they offer a varied challenge to may levels of players. The staff is the very best I have ever run into and always make you feel very welcome.
If you haven't been here, it is worth the trip! Good luck to those who are trying for the IPT card.
