Lot's of good players who need to step it up.

There are alot of good players currently on the outside looking in. Hopefully O' Sullivan will have a good tournament in Chicago to make the top 100. There are also ALOT of qualifiers that stand to get their cards for 2007, no surprise seeing how most of the qualifiers were extremely tough to get through in the first place.
Tour cards
I kind of feel sorry for Vilmos Foldes, he has played in so many qualifiers, taken 3rd is some, and is the 101st place in the money list, which means he is back to qualifiers.
He almost should be given a tour card for next year just for the expense and effort he has gone to trying to make it.

Vilmos Foldes just won a qualifier in Netherland, so he is ready to make a go in the Tour Card Qualifier in December.
It's not so much costs for him as you would think. He paid 2000$ in Weert, got 3rd and a free entry into a new qualifier. Got 3 and free entry into a new one, and got 3rd in that one too, and then played in London before the World Open and finished 6th. Got another free entry to the next one in Weert, which he finally won.
So it is only travel expences for him. Guess there are others who have spent more money than him. But anyway, great that he finally made it!

For both tournaments, django would dominate right out of the gate...maybe for the first 4 or so days. But for some reason he would just crumble when he enters the round of 18. Maybe he just runs out of gas and it's a conditioning problem? He'll figure things out eventually. In the NA Open, he didn't make it past round 3 and was awarded 10k. However, he had the best record and highest winning percentage of all the players that got eliminated in that round, and he didn't get anything extra to show for it (unlike in the World Open).
If they had graduated payouts in the first tournament as they did the second, then most likely Foldes would've earned his 2007 tour card.
Yeah, me too, he deserves it man, he is such a great player. One of the best in my opinion. He is my all-time favorite. I hope they put him in the hall of fame. I just love his style. And he is humble, gracious, and a good sportsman just like Efren, who is the player he most looks up to, even though he's beaten him on several occasions. That is so rare, even Earl loves this guy, it seems like he has so much respect and admiration for him. I was so disappointed when he didn't advance this last time, maybe it was the pressure? Anyways I was really mad 'cause I think Rodney lost on purpose so that Corey Deuel would get to advance and not Bustamante. I can understand him trying to look out for a friend and fellow American, or maybe it's just that he didn't want to have to play Bustamante again, but that was just wrong man.jsp said:
