IPT refs and what happened to me!!!!

i felt sorry for manalo. he was really trying hard to explain and get people to believe him. at one point he was just trying to get people to not think that he was lying. but in the end, he just accepted it and played on.

I doubt anyone thought that he was "lying" - that's a fairly loaded word. I imagine most folks thought he was "mistaken". I certainly did - the shot looked bad to me when that show aired. I Tivo'd it and watched it repeatedly in slo-mo. (Others have said they did the same thing and though it was good, but I don't think they're "lying" either. )

Marlon's use of the word "lying" may simply have been a product of english being his second language.

That's how I looked at it.
