From my observation, I was seeing lint build up. Saw several players picking lint from the tables and tossing it away.
Lint can stop and/or change the path of a slow rolling ball.

Thanks for the heads up. I know they are experimenting with the cloth; hopefully they will find one juuuuuuussst right. How was the humidity? That could account for some of the slowness, although locals would be used to that, I guess.
All that lint build-up is distracting and can cause funny things to happen when the balls are rolling. My fear is that we could be spawning a new generation of lint-pickers like Johnny Archer.
