Ipt The Equipment Conditions

being a lucky ipt member, just thought i shed some light on the official ipt equipment, the diamond table is very well made, heavy and sturdy.

the pockets are tight, and on long shots are trouble, for most ipt players.

the cushions are weird, speed sensitive, meaning hitting the geometric correct spot won't make your bank, but different speeds and different places will,go figure? i say learning how to bank with these cushions is like learning a new alphabet within an hour, it's just too much,i say, bring in the accu-fast cushions.

the cloth is going to get slower and slower, they will leave the cloth on, and not remove it,from the NAO on, so the cloth for the WO will be the same cloth that was used in the last tournament,it's good cloth, that will get more and more predictable, and the strokes will have to get harder, and harder.

the rack from sardo is fantastic, i love it.

the balls are the best, heavy and true rolling, and handsome.

the chalk in my opinion is the best piece of equipment out of them all, this IPT chalk should be the new standard in the industry of chalk, my guess is tweeten fibre made it, and they took the job seriously, the result is the most incredible chalk a pool player has ever used, this stuff sticks like glue to your tip,it makes master chalk look cheap!

anyhow, just wanted to give ya,all insight into the ipt and it's premier eqipment, see you in reno,Bernie Friend IPT player.

Very accurate, Bernie. As you note, the only adjustment is that the IPT cloth causes the rails to play a little differently, actually a little slidier. As we've seen, though, the top players are not having a hard time making the adjustment.

I'd have to agree with you that the IPT equipment is very good, befitting top players. The first two IPT events produced Reyes and Hohmann as its two champions, so it seems that the equipment and format are enabling the cream to rise to the top, and that's as it should be.

Good luck to you in Reno.

My perception is that the balls are actually a lot lighter...at least than Centennials.

contradicting

uhhh, I dont think Tweeten made the chalk for IPT (not sure tho).
But I do know that Master is made by Tweeten Fibre... this being said....ugh.
