LOL! :D 5 to 1? Them's good odds! :p

I'd take you on that bet, Jay, but I couldn't do it in good conscience because you're one of the good guys, and I like you! :)

Check out the IPT World Class 9-Ball Open, coming up February 14, 2007: http://www.internationalpooltour.com/ipt_content/event_qualifiers/venues/billiard_paradise_tourn.asp

We may have differing views pertaining to the IPT, Jay, but I hold you in the very highest regard, respect your opinions, and like your style! :p

JAM

You've got a bet! Just kidding.

Hey, I really hope no one misses this newest IPT tournament. It is a slight comedown though. Instead of a million dollar plus purse, this one is paying about $15,000 total! So he is listening to the suggestions made here to lower the prize monies.

At least you don't have to play in a qualifier to get in. Wonder if Deno will be there to run the show. Maybe they're both living over there now. Probably a lot safer environment, then hanging around with these nasty Americans.

Jay (and JAM).....realise you both may be posting tongue in cheek on this but just in case there is someone out there who actually mistakenly thinks from your posts that this this particular 9 ball tournament is an IPT tournament lets make it crystal clear that this tourney is totally unconnected with the IPT and certainly isn't an IPT tournament in even the remotest sense. It isn't organised by the IPT,it isn't funded by the IPT,no entry money goes to the IPT,no money is paid out by the IPT.

This is simply a routine "entry fee in,prize money out" tournament organised by the owner/management of a pool room which just happens to be an IPT certified pool room and the room are understandably simply taking advantage of the opportunity to advertise their tournament via the IPT site for free or for cheap rates which presumably is one of the perks of being an IPT certified room in the first place.Any other IPT certified room could in exactly the same way advertise on the IPT website any tournament at all which they were holding and their doing so wouldn't by any stretch of the imagination make it an IPT tournament.

sounds too much like a rollover, the timing of this upstart group is a little to coincidental with a certain in the black promotion company.
