My clicker must not work right (LOL). The only thing that pops up is that one-loss bracket window, but I'll give it another try. :p

The German Schmidt is out, losing to Peach 10 to 7.

Now it's a battle between Japan and Britain, with Peach in the driver's seat. Stay tuned...

There should be a scroll bar on the bottom of the window that will allow you to scroll over to the winners side. :)

Had the same problem

My bracket window not working either then I finally read the note at the bracket page that says if its not workiing to click here. Takes me to page with whole bracket but have to scroll left/right up/down but am able to see whole bracket winners and losers. Did you find that?

Peach is leading 8-3 in the loser's final. Seems he'll get the card.

...now 9-4...should be able to pencil him in!

Congratulations to Daryl Peach on earning his tour card! He is one of the UK guys that has attended every qualifier so he certainly earned his spot on tour. Tough loss for Takami seeing how he's been close to qualifying on more than one occasion now.

It was due that one of the Brits qualified, they were ever present in each of the qualifiers. I wanted Boyes to qualify too, but i like that the last place was gained by one. I didn't expect him to qualify really, as, although he ran six racks in an earlier qualifier, he usually went out early. Go Peach!

I don't see why they couldn't of played the Schmidt v Seiffert match the full race to 10, the brackets were completed around 7PM GMT, so surely they could of had the extra 1 or 2 hours of play? It's not like the extra 2 racks to be won would make ALL that difference. And it is a pretty big deal.

did they change that race to 8 because schmidt is so slow?? i would not have accepted this as a player. did the players sign contracts saying the td could change the length of the matches? remember, these guys put up 2k! id be furious if i was seiffer.

they should not change the lenth of the races, i dont care what the circumstances. guess im mad because you dont see this in other spots unless its a last resort, then again, maybe it was.

hello,
i`m new here and my name is Mike.
i`m from germany and i know thomas seiffert.
he plays a normal speed. but schmidt is called "the brake" sometimes here in germany.
one week before weert we played a pre-qualifier here in germany and seiffert has won this.
32 players, 100 euros entry fee, double elimination to the end.
if anyone is intrested in some pictures from this event:
http://www.pool-blues.com
click on the photo and than on "FOTO".
the site is unfortunately only in german.
every tuesday evening we plays a 9 ball tournament with
live-chart and live -video stream on the center court.
so, if you want to see some hot german 9 ball matches, you are invited.
if thomas seiffert will play our tournament today, he will play on the center court, than you can see that he is not a "brake".

all the best from germany,

Mike

Here is a copy of the SLOW PLAY rules from the IPT website....

17.0 Slow Play-
From time to time throughout a match, referees will spot check to make sure that match play is moving along at an acceptable rate. If the referee determines that match play is going too slowly, the referee may issue a warning to speed up play to both players, or to the player the referee believes is responsible for the slow play. There is no shot clock. The absence of a shot clock is not an excuse to play too slowly. If the referee issues a warning, it is the players' responsibility to speed up play immediately. If a single player is warned and fails to speed up play to an acceptable rate, the referee can issue a one game penalty. If both players continue to play too slowly, the referee can issue a one game penalty to both players, essentially bringing the match closer to completion. If one or both players are on the verge of winning the match, the referee will exercise restraint unless a player is playing absurdly slow or with the intention of distracting the opponent.

It's clearly there in the rules and all players should read up on the official rules.

If both players are playing slow then the whole match gets cut....if it's only one player playing slow then they get warned and then deducted a frame if further slow play.

Seems pretty straight forward to me.
