Is anyone going to the Derby Thur Jan 30-Sun Feb 2

This may be the first year that I didn't go to the DCC! Last year I just went down for one night. It's just not the same for me at the casino. I don't blame Greg for moving it there, it was, I'm sure, a sound business decision but having been spoiled by the first several years at the Executive West, I just can't get up the enthusiasm, even if I could afford to stay at the Horseshoe! I will enjoy watching a bunch of the matches thanks to Accu-Stats, from the comfort of my home! I don't know what I'd do without "Accu-Stats"? They are second to none when it comes to streaming and archiving important billiards events. I wish they could be at EVERY tournament so I really look forward to the events they do cover.

Well, that is one way to go with it.
Only problem is, the more people that don't go, the more likely the event is to fail or at least not be profitable enough for greg to continue to do. I also liked the executive west, but it is no more. I just cannot understan the thinking behind "it's different so i am not going to go".
Find several people to share a room & split the cost with. If you can't, that is not the event or venues fault.
Three of us travel eight hours & stay nine nights at the casino hotel, $33.00 per night each. Cheap room that way.
