Is Bert Kinisters 60 minute workout...?

Replace it. The CB must make 1 revolution after contact. It's a speed shot for the most part. You can change tip location to compensate for various speeds but first hit it center ball with speed until you find the correct speed for different distances.

Its easy after you practice a few times and you will remember it for life :)

I WANT TO BE ACCURATE AND CONSISTENT IN ALL MY POCKETING, CAROMS, COMBOS, AND BANKS. ONE REVOLUTION OF THE CUE BALL WILL NOT HELP ME. WHAT PARTICULAR AIMING METHOD WOULD YOU USE TO ACCOMPLISH MY AMBITION.

IMSHARMA, of course.

The Right Practice Is Playing

Shot #1 is the long rail shot? practice every other day?

WHY PRACTICE 27 SHOTS? WHY NOT JUST USE YOUR AIMING SYSTEM TO POCKET ANY AND ALL SHOTS THAT COME UP?

PRACTICE SHOTS AND DRILLS NEVER COME UP IN A TOURNAMENT OR GAME. WHY DO YOU WANT TO PRACTICE SOMETHING THAT NEVER COMES UP?

PRACTICE YOUR ACCURATE AND CONSISTENT AIMING SYSTEM. THAT'S WHAT YOU NEED TO BE PRACTICING ALL THE TIME.

A good number of those 27 shots are feel shots, shots which will vary depending on the cue stick you are using, as well as the cue ball -- whether it is a red circle or blue circle or whatever -- the cloth on the table, the rails, and so on. Aiming, english, speed control, placement of the tip on the cue ball in the right place, and so on are all variables that will change with each person's stck, tip, stroke and so on. Unfortunately, Sonia, in the case of a number of shots in this workout, and they are not "drills" in the normal sense of the term, aiming alone won't do the trick.

If ever there were shots that depend on speed control and aim and english and so on, there are plenty in this workout to challenge most players.

Sort of funny you should say this. My teacher calls them reference shots. They come up constantly in games and tournaments.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with using your aiming system, but you need to practice something. So you use reference shots or drills. Just saying 'use your aiming system' is sort of saying all you need to do is play racks in your practice and you need to do more than that if your going to progress.
