No it isn't, and it is pretty shocking.
Why is it necessary to see both Shane and Nick twice each today at the expense of seeing one of the final four?
Very hard to figure, especially given that Mike and Dennis had a close match, one that I missed, yesterday and one in which many viewers have alleged Dennis cheated (no idea whether he did or didn't).
For those following today's action on the stream, it's as if the tournament is already down to 3 players, but we don't yet know which three.
Accu-stats probably figuring the DVD of Shane vs. Nick could be a big seller if Nick plays well, but for viewing fans, Dennis vs Mike is, by far, the sexier mathcup.
In past Opens, they always film the match to determine the hotseat on the TV table.
The B-side of the chart match, which is Dennis and Mike, was not streamed, as it was occurring simultaneously with the match to determine the hotseat.
Sorry. :sorry:
Last year at the US Open 9-ball, the losers bracket semifinal between Lee Vann Corteza and Niels Feijen was streamed.
That was because the TV table finished before they started. Then they panned the cameras over to their match. I remember it vividly, as I was posting the results here on the forum.
Then the next match, it was Van-Van vs. Jayson Shaw, I think, on the TV table.
