Amen to that!
Don't judge a man's education by his writing either. I knew a wise elderly gentleman for five years or so on the internet, seemed almost functionally illiterate but knew more about our game than almost anyone on earth. Much to my surprise I learned that he was a Phd, a teaching professor, and the head of a school at an ivy league university! Sure was glad I didn't embarrass myself with even a joke about his writing skills over the years.
Another of the smartest men I ever met really was almost illiterate, maybe a third grade education. A man very wise in the ways of people, livestock, and farming. Giving him the respect he deserved let me learn tons from this man that had less formal education than I did.
As for Dave Viffer, he is laughing all the way to the bank with his "Dippy" image. If I trusted him not to deliberately tank I'd bet on him outscoring 90% of this forum on an IQ test and that isn't putting down the forum members. It takes a lot of smarts to seem stupid sometimes. I have watched hours of his poker play against some of the smartest players in the world. All seem to consider him every bit their equal and there are a surprising number of upper level poker players with Masters and Phd's. Dippy does what Dippy do because he wants to and because he can, not because it is the only thing he can do. Anybody else noticing that Dave is taking down his share of the matches now when the money is right?

I know this is not the norm, I always give a person the benefit of the doubt, but.......
I've met some people in my travels that couldn't read or write their own name's that were most very intelligent, and just being "street smart" had nothing to do with it, don't ever judge a person's IQ sorely on ones education, or that misjudgment may come back to haunt you one day!
