I am a new low skill player, shooting for three years, and love to read articles about top players and big matches.

If I didn't know any better (and I don't) it would seem to me that people are very critical of how things are being done at the top, as in what games should be promoted, the IPT to be specific about one thing, and the way that top players shoot or conduct themselves.

The way that people discuss issues and custom cues around here I would imagine that everyone is either on the road or a pro tour card holder.

I am sure it's just me though!@#

So what would you conclude about the football prowess in livingrooms across the country during the holiday game season?

I am quite sure that the discussions we have here of custom cues don't in any way resemble discussions that professional players would have about their custom cues.

Fred <~~~ not a pro, but did honestly stay at a Holiday Inn Express last week

I am a massive Eagles fan, and work in Philly. I was surprised that Washington could beat any NFC East team like that.

You would be hard pressed to find a pro here, but some do show up at times. On the other hand you have a nice blend of instructors and A+ players to draw real practical knowledge from.

My 9 year old has been an Eagles fan since DM started playing for them. To bad about TO, but then again the team and the media were at fault too. The guy works hard and at the same time is a little insecure, why didn't they all understand that and work him through it. Just a shame.

isn't this a fan's perrogative. or is pool the ONLY game in the whole wide world where there is criticism of the pros????

It is a very diverse group of would've beens, shoulda beens, will be's, gonna be's, ahd has beens. It is just perfect. We even have a guy who can spot dialated pupils in a photograph taken from 23 feet away, same as an NBA three pointer. We got em all. The main thing, it is fun. Everybody here, loves everybody.
Oh,,,,,,, ti does get a little intense here sometimes, but nobody has been shot in 2 or 3 months.
So, now, what is your problem?

Jimmy, did you NOT see the "WATCH OUT" part of my post? I cannot be held responsible for my actions for the remaining 8 hours of this day.:eek: BTW, how'd you do in the tournament this weekend? 2 and out I hope.:D See, I'm losin' it man, I need HELP!!!!!:D

The original post asks a good question on this forum.

I think if you ask a question, you will get a variety of Answers, and Opinions based upon peoples experiences.

Than you have a third type of answer from what I call Keyboard Commandos, with little or no real experience.

Like those who did Two Tours in Nam, have hundreds of stories of Combat. but were assigned to a Supply Unit, or Public Affairs behind the lines. :)

Hah! Not far off. I won a match! Ahh, I love those handicaps. I "lost" 8-8 in the loser's side. :)

You see the most amazing shots on the bar tables, by the way.
