is implex strong enough for break

Some advice please. Is implex a good joint material for a break cue?

Absolutely - it's very durable.

The joint does not get much excess stress on any shot anyway, the ferrule does.

I sure hope so... I broke with an implex jointed cue for the first 20 years.
