Is it cueball cue ball or cue-ball?

One of those has to be the "right" way, so which is it?

From Webster (that evil know it all):

Main Entry: cue ball
Function: noun
Date: 1881
: the ball a player strikes with the cue in billiards and pool

no reason for it to be hyphenated as far as i can see. although i have to say if such a minute grammatical technicality bothers you i can't help but wonder how you managed to put 'is' twice in the topic title! :D
