Is IT A BLESSING OR A CURSE

Sorry to say it but most pro pool players wind up unhappy and broke.About a month ago there was a collection for Danny Di because he was in the hospital recovering from a stroke. Today there is a collection for Ginky for funeral expenses.
If you live from hand to mouth it will eventually catch up with you health wise.

Look at Johnny Archer, he seems to have his life together. he has his room and owns a motel. He has invested wisely. I doubt if he will ever need a collection for himself, barring something unforeseen.

Tom i to lived through the 60s and seen a lot of friends die younger then they should have. Everyone has their priorities, pool no matter how good you are should be treated as a means to accomplish a goal which leads to a successful life and retirement.
Some will make a good living and invest while others will live in the moment and wind up broke.

I want to thank all of you that took the time to respond to my thread.

All of you have made some very good points.

Maybe this thread will help someone out there, take better care of themselves, physically or financially.

I had a good friend that always talked about making that elusive, "BIG SCORE."

He was a great tile installer. I used to tell him, "Go to work every day. That's when you'll make your biggest score."
