Sorry but the early bird gets the worm!

You should have just bought the cue as soon as the seller offered it for sale. I know a person that bought a Black Boar at a yard sale for $25.00.. He didn't think twice just asked the seller what he wanted paid and left. It is the responsibility of the seller to know the value of the items they are selling.
I have made mistakes and sold items for less than I should have and have had to learn to accept it and move on..

Sorry if you thought that was how I came across. It wasn't intentional.
The point is, when you see something you are interested in, jump on it. You could have told the guy you were interested, and wanted to come by and see it. Once you get there and see it, it's still your option whether or not you want to buy it. Had you felt a moral urge, you could have said to him "Look, I know a little about pool cues, and this is worth more than you are asking. I would feel better if you would take $50. You get a deal, he comes out better off, and your conscience is clear.

Although I would never do that I did search Craigslist after words to see if I could find it. (assuming that's where you found it) I would love to tell the story of the case I saw for sale on there though but tonight isn't one of my 1000 word post nights...let's just say the guy had less the friendly sales tactics! ;)

Ok, I will.....

Needless to say I didn't buy the used case for $95 that I saw new on a website for $109 after it took 3 emails to get the description and brand from him...good thing I didn't drive the 45 miles to look at it! It's no wonder he's had it for sale for almost a month now.
