Is it ok to use a pool glove in league play?

During Monsoon season (which just ended) here, a glove is pretty much a requirement, unless the a/c is on full blast. Even then, the humidity can stay high. So I've started wearing one most of the time now. I don't think I'm going back. I don't wear one all the time, but it's just not worth the constant hand washing and shaft cleaning that I used to do. Of course, my other hand sweats enough that I get my wrap wet. I could probably use a glove on that hand as well!

Spoken like a guy from Minnesota...

I don't use powder or a glove....clean and then hand burnish your (wood) shaft with clean untanned leather..

before and every hour or 2 during play wash your hands with soap and ICE cold water.. dry completely.. and you will glide smooth as oiled glass...

if you have a graphite or composite shaft .. anything completely sealed... then the glove or powder is a necessary evil..

but get used to being called Micheal Jackson LOL

Come down south and you'll realize that washing your hands is not enough!

If you feel comfortable with a glove use it.
