I know that in the older bk1 the ding cracks and starts to peel right off.

But the Bk2 seems to hold up better. So is it possible to raise a ding on the forearm of the Bk2 using the heat method? Or any method that any has success with? Has anyone tried doing so?

Thanks for any info.

I have done it several times with the Predator 2 and a FAT shaft, I would think it would work the same on the BK shaft, I believe they are constructed similarly.

Just wondering if applying heat would melt the plastic fiber surrounding the wood.

Has anyone tried successfully? Thought i better ask for some opinion before doing something stupid.

There is a thread in Ask the Cuemaker section of the forum where your question is answered.

Thank you for the info!

I was wondering if it would work the same on a BK2 and hopefully get some lesson from experience before i attempt to do anything.

But thanks for the info.

I have tried the water banaid thing, the steam thing. but still no good.

The whole darn cue is in really great condition but that small darn ding for some reason is really irritating me.

I think maybe the water cannot get to the wood due to the black fiber surrounding the wood.

Anyone else got any ideas?
