There are many being sold just about as they're delivered. And they aren't cheap.
Seeing the same ones "going around" is a good sign that the better ones may be holding their value.. As for them going any higher I'd guess the overseas market may be a good barometer??
I responded specifically to your post regarding JF-era SW's, and not new SW's. Until I see someone posting a JF-era cue at a crazy price and see it sold immediately (without haggling), my view isn't going to change.
As far as the new SW's, they've always sold quickly and for a high price - some people want new cues and don't want to wait years on end to get one. The same is true of many high-end cues.
