Is Jeff De Luna's break legal?

Jr. banks breaks like this as well . In olathe this summer he dominated with his break. Just getting his weight behind him. Jr got about 17,000. and second place

I think you're missing the original reason of the rule. It's there so people don't crawl around on the table like they did at the IPT tournaments where they didn't have the rule.
 
I was laughing when i saw this thread. I was sitting in class watching the WPC earlier tonight (i know, not the best thing to be doing during class) and I loved watching De Luna break. This is honestly the first time i've got to see him play and i was honestly impressed. He keeps very composed and that break is great. I know alot of guys who use a break similar to that, just not as with much power. It will be interesting to see how far he goes.

This is not a new break, I remember Jumping Joe from Canada doing it years ago but with less power.THAT IS HOW HE GOT THE NAME..
