Is Planet Pool Tour DEAD?

I spoke with Mike Ricciardella directly only a few days ago.
PP is not dead, they just don't have any scheduled events for the remainder of the year.
I would expect a resurgence in 2012.
In the meantime, enjoy the Action Pool Tour!

Gee, I wonder why it's struggling, if not dead already. I won't get started on the $35 sign-up fee, because I don't want to hear "This is a great event" again. And yes, I was one of those that wanted the tour to succeed.

And the Big Daddy's events are great too, so all is not lost in the Maryland/DC/Northern VA area.

He's actually good at the event. Marketing his product, I might agree with the above!
And I don't thing there is much motivation to bring their events to the DC area, with rooms closing and not having to concern themselves w/ the APT...plus the TD lives 3+ hrs North anyway.
