How many times do foot races go bad! Does anyone have a good foot race video or story where the foot has gone bad?

Just saying these weekend I got a 2 parking space spot and decided to dive for the finish line , We can all thank stella and mr budwiser for that.:thumbup:

Foot race in the parking lot of J.O.B's

There was an awesome foot race in the parking lot of J.O.B billiards in Nashville in about the year 2001 or so. I forgot who was racing,but it was Rafael Martinez that hit the pavement half way to the finish. His pants were ripped and his knees were pretty banged up from that spill. He may even had to play a match like that afterward too.Maybe someone else will chime in with a few more details from that one.
 
Forgot to mention I lost this race and a word of advice don't ever side bet the guy calling the race!
 
When I was in college I was at a party and the guy throwing the party decided he wanted to race one of his buddies. So they go to the parking lot if the apartments and get ready. Everyone came out to watch it. Not even 20 ft from the start the guy who's party it was stumbles, tries to brace himself but his knees stuck when they landed and he went face first into the street. He knocked out 1 1/2 of his front teeth. The right tooth broke off halfway up. I actually saw the guy not too long ago and he still hasn't got new teeth. Funny stuff!
