Anyone know anything about the on-demand catalogue on Vimeo for Accu-stats??
I subscribed to the channel at the beginning of this year after seeing that they'd added a large assortment of matches from a handful of events and the accu-stats production was top notch like it always has been. Better than almost all the content available on Youtube or Facebook currently. I ended up burning through all of those matches within the first month or so of subscribing to the channel (which is ~$12.99/month I might add) and since then they've only added matches from 1 or 2 events. I was hoping they'd eventually be loading a larger selection from backlog of their existing catalogue, but it just hasn't happened. I'm puzzled how they think anyone is going to maintain a subscription to a catalogue of matches that is never updated. Maybe the online videos still just aren't their focus so they don't care about keeping up with it? Would be interesting if this were true because to me that would seem a terrible plan for the future. Sorta like sticking your head in the sand while all your friends are trying to tell you that the future of almost all business is this new thing called the internet. lol
I'll admit that I even lost track of the fact that I was still subscribed to the channel until I had the random thought to check in and see if they'd added anything recently. Was disappointed to see that they hadn't so I immediately cancelled my subscription before Vimeo charges me again. I want things like this and the streamers to succeed, but I can't justify a price point at the same level as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc.. when they're not offering even 1% of the content. I expected more from accu-stats. Is there something I'm not seeing or a reason they've seamingly abandoned this part of their offerings?
