Off the watch band me thinks...better lighting would help, but I'll bet if its going in on its own his hand is no where near the pocket.

I've watched the shot about 200 times in ultra-slow motion using "high end" frame-rendering software.

At first, I thought it was a foul too. But after taking the time to recreate the shot in a controlled environment which included using a local actor dressed like Ronnie and the purchase of a fifth of scotch, I have now confirmed that the shot was legal. The ball actually hit a small object on the table (perhaps chalk), and then veered from it's natural tangent line and into the pocket.

Yep, he "watched it" in the pocket.......

I took the video.. it was definitely off his hand...

He was practicing... just showing off... he knew I was taking the video...

Small screen cap showing object.

he even moves his hand into position to make the ball skim off it into the pocket. Its a foul. You can see him change his hand position at the last second right before the ball hits it to give it the correct angle to go in.

Nice heavily pixelated pic...however the 'object' was probably his watchband...was that shot at The Cue Club??
