Is the wood too twisted?

Hello folks,

Here is another one off the lathe...
Wood is way too twisted

Highly figured and curly olivewood with chechen burl. With this kind of wood combo, snow white shafts would not compliment the cue so, bowling alley shafts were added with micarta ferrules and brown bumper.

This cue is also the first one to have my new shaft taper based on some feedback from a couple of pros.

Customer does not mind me posting the cue but did not want to disclose his AZB name.

Hopefully you guys will like this wood combo

Tony, another example of the finest woods you work with! Someone will be happy.
Thanks for sharing.

Tony,

Thanks for posting. There appeared to be a hiatus in your posting, but maybe it was my fault. Once again, you show yourself as a master in allowing the beauty of the wood to serve as the foundation for the way a cue looks. The butt wood is incredible. The shafts look great, too. Congratulations on producing another beauty.

Hey folks,

I really appreciate everybody's comments. I am humbled by them.
I was a bit on the defense about the two highly figured woods but the wood combo ended up working out beautifully.
I have a couple more cues that I will be posting later on today :)
