Is there a game called Brooklyn?

I used to play in ring games of Brooklyn on a snooker table @ Mac's Red Cue in Canoga Park in the San Fernando Valley in the late 1960's. You rack the 9-14 like in 6-ball on the front spot. The 15 goes on the back spot. Each ball you make adds the # of the ball on your count on the string. The 15 ball is wild. If you make it, you get 15 more on the string, respot the ball, & keep shooting. If you miss it you lose 15 and the next player shoots. In addition to making balls, you can play a carom from the object ball, with any # or no rails, before contacting the 15 ball. The break was usually to cross over the head ball, dive 2 rails, & smack into the 15. I've never seen it played anywhere else, which is a shame because it's a great money game. The owner, & several players in the room, were from Warren, Ohio, which may be where it originated. I dunno. Anyway, them's the rules.
