Is there an "ignore thread" button?

I know there's a 'subscribe to thread' option, but is there a way to ignore a thread? There's been far too much drama here lately, and I'd like to avoid it if possible.

Just don't click on it. There is an ignore function for specific members but not for threads.

I don't think anyone was ripping on me. At least I hope not?

Anyway, it's easy to *not* click on a thread (as suggested), but with all the popularity such threads have been receiving, I get sick of seeing them at the top of list every time I log on.

I thought that's what the main forum was for....

You can filter your search results by forum if you go into "advanced search". If you're talking about the NPR stuff in the main forum, then I don't think anyone can help you there. Maybe you could start some threads about the subjects you want to talk about.
