Is there anyway to fit a 31" Shaft into a Fellini stlye JB GTF Case?

Do they make longer top caps?

John could probably set you up with a longer top. Have you contacted them? I know he does a lot to accommodate.
 
I just tried a 30.5" shaft in a few different cases and there was at least an inch to spare.

Fellini which is a 34" case
GTF
Engles
 
It’s a pretty tight fit. I’ve gotten by with a 30” butt and the pin was at least an inch so I think a 31” shaft would fit. Probably not with joint caps though.

there is no wat it will fit even with the sap padding taken out.

Do you think john could make a taller cap?
That would be awesome! Or I would even buy a new one that held 31" shafts,
I love that case, but I love the shaft more!
any info on mr Barton greatly appreciated!
