is there old "sniper" tip & new "sniper tip?

over the past 2 years i have tried 4 different tips (Le pro, kamui blk ss, sniper & onyx) and settled on the sniper tip about 1 year ago....changed to an "onyx" tip and just wasn't as pleased as with the sniper. so i purchased another sniper tip in dec 2012.......after a month the tip has begun to glaze after one session of play. the other sniper never glazed over, that was one of the very reasons i liked it. so, did they change the process or what?

I had a Sniper on a year or two ago and loved it. When it came time for a new one last year the guy who installs them for me went through 3-4 tips before throwing the batch away. He said that they kept delaming or just not staying on the shaft. I've been using him for a while and have had no issues like that in the past. I switch over to Everest, which seem to play similar without the issues. I don't know if he had a bad batch or what, but he won't order more to my knowledge.

sniper tips

I have had 3 or 4 sniper tips delaminate out of 60 over the years.
I did call the person that sold me the tips ,he said moisture.
If there is a problem with them I would call tiger up and talk with them.
