Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
Can anyone ID this cue and it’s value?
Looks like an Adam Rambow Tribute.
Thank You

It's an Adam Rambow.

Non-original shaft. (Edit: I am not sure of this point. It looks like there might be a mid-extension installed?)

With linen it's a R/A-7W

With leather R/A-7B

I bought a ‘Palmer’ cue, brand new, about 6 years ago.
...my buddy had bought it in Vegas.
I assumed that an Asian company had bought the name like Asian Dufferins.

....the cost $40....it was a hell of a cue for that price

Incidentally, the most recent Dufferin trademark application was 6/3/2019. Very recent.

There has been more than one company involved in producing those Asian Palmers. Some were crap, some were pretty darn decent.

It looks like the Palmer trademark is currently available to register in the US, Canada, China, Europe, and more.

I’m waiting for a “knowledgeable and respected” person like Justin to respond before I decide.

I am also hoping that that middle black section is an extension.
I will be looking at the cue on Friday.
Do you all feel $75 is an OK price?

Wow, you start a thread about a $75 cue?

Wow

Oh wait, you're serious?

Bahahahaha

Yes $75 is fine

LOL!

Yeah, $75 is fine. Buy it. No question.

The shaft, if original and straight, is worth that much.

Incidentally the prices on these are soft at the moment. Someone has been trying to sell one on Ebay and it's worth what they are asking yet is has been re-listed 3 times. It has linen though, which is worth a little less.

Posting it here, I likely just sold it for them. I would buy it if I didn't already have a better one. For anybody looking, that is a "good deal".

I have one with leather wrap and two original shafts and the original case. Great cue, great set, glad to own it. Was looking for one for years but didn't pull the trigger until I found the right one at a good price. It wasn't $75 though.

Says it is and it has my name in foil under a clear plastic ring. I paid $125 for it and the case. Did I pay too much?

Hamson is current name of the TaiCan plant. They make Dufferin, Universal, Predator, Players, Lucasi, ADAM(not the Musashi's tho) to name a few. Big outfit.

Yup.

Hamson International Enterprises was established in 2000.

What surprised me is that anybody let the Palmer trademark go. I was checking on who had it, and it is available to register.
