Is this an old 3-Cushion ball?

I found this in a stockpile of antique balls and am curious to know more. It is slightly oblong [not really that extreme, but enough to notice if you roll it slowly on a desk], large, and very heavy.

There are two black dots on it, one opposite the other. Is it ivory? I don't know how to test that without damaging it. The ball next to it is a standard 2 1/4" pocket billiards ball.

Thanks for any input!

It doesn't look ivory to me. Usually old ivory balls have a very visible grain.

You're probably right. After looking at it closely, my guess is Brunswick 'Composition' or Bakelite?

I could not find any ball online that had 2 black dots, only 1. So I do not have an exact match to confirm anything.

It's an OLD Aramith Billiard ball from the 70's, I have a couple of sets lying around! Just like the OLD Ivory billiard ball sets, the (black) ball had a black dot on both sides.
